Friable asbestos is NOT accepted at Logan Landfill.

Non-friable asbestos is accepted at Logan Landfill. Guidelines for bringing non-friable asbestos:

First learn the difference between friable and non-friable asbestos.
You must have prior approval from management.
Loads containing asbestos must be accompanied by the Waste Tracking Form. Fill out the form and submit it to Jim.Simon@gallatin.mt.gov prior to coming to the landfill. Bring a copy of the approved form with you when you drop off the asbestos.

Compliance Officer

Gallatin Solid Waste Management District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
